POLYSAN is obtained by pleating up to 5 polypropylene layers of decreasing porosity to achieve high effective filtration area, high dirt holding capacity and precise and controlled filter ratings. Polysan is available in two versions: PKP absolute grade with efficiency of 99,98 %; PKN nominal grade with efficiency of 98%. All the components in polypropylene are assembled by thermowelding process. POLYSAN is well suited in all applications (chemical—petrochemical—water treatment—food&beverage—RO—etc..) thanks to its streghts and high chemical compatibility both with liquid and gases; PH grade is prefluxed with non-pyrogenic water and suitable for pharmaceutical applications.

Food-Safety POLYSAN filter elements meet European Directives 82/711/ECC, 85/572/ECC, 89/109/ECC, 93/8/ECC, 97/48/EC, 2001/61/EC, 2002/16/EC, 2002/72/EC and 2004/19/EC for food contact use and global migration.
Bio-Safety Specific for “PH” grade: the filter meets USP “Water for injection” requirements for particle release and the effluent is Non-Pyrogenic per USP Bacterial Endotoxins (< 0,25 EU/ml).
